QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements
Experience & Education: 2+ years of inventory management, manufacturing, or steel industry experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.


Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite; experience with AS400, IntelliTrans, CarrierPoint, Power BI, and AI-driven tools preferred.


Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical capabilities, and effective problem-solving skills.


Work Environment & Availability: Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs dictate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Tracking & Auditing: Monitor, analyze, and maintain accuracy of in-process and finished product inventory; perform cycle counts, track storage facility inventory, monitor inventory on hold, and investigate missing coils or discrepancies.


Shipping & Reporting: Generate daily shipping reports, manage claims, and streamline overall Shipping Department operations.


Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between Operations, Sales, Planning, and Shipping teams to drive continuous system and process improvements.


Safety Leadership: Initiate, lead, and uphold company safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
