The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, inventory, and production activities to ensure timely and efficient operations. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, reviewing production schedules, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring materials are available to meet production requirements. The position also supports quality, cost control, and compliance with established standards and procedures.
Coordinate and expedite the movement of materials and work between departments based on production schedules.
Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing requirements to determine material needs and priorities.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate supplies to support production demands.
Examine documents, materials, and products for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards and specifications.
Record and maintain production data, including production volume, raw material consumption, and quality control information.
Prepare and maintain reports related to inventory levels, production activities, material usage, and costs.
Requisition materials and supplies required for ongoing production operations.
Identify inventory or material shortages and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues.
Maintain accurate documentation and records using computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Support compliance with applicable shipping, production, and inventory regulations.

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in inventory control, production planning, materials management, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to understand and work with production schedules, work orders, and inventory records.

Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Familiarity with shipping and production procedures and applicable regulations.
