Inventory Coordinator
Position Summary
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, identifying discrepancies, and supporting reconciliation efforts across multiple inventory locations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory records and perform regular inventory reconciliations.
- Compare inventory data across systems and identify discrepancies.
- Communicate inventory variances to appropriate departments and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with operational teams to research and resolve inventory differences.
- Gather and maintain documentation required to support inventory adjustments and reconciliations.
- Enter and update inventory transactions within the ERP system, including:
- Inventory transfers
- Purchase order receipts and shipments
- Product condition updates and inventory adjustments
- Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies throughout the month.
- Support periodic and year-end physical inventory counts.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous inventory, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experience
- Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems
- Experience within Oil & Gas, Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Industrial environments
- Knowledge of inventory control, materials management, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday through Thursday: In-office Friday: Work from Home
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
