Job Summary:
The Inventory Coordinator I is responsible for ensuring all inventory is maintained accurately and provided to production lines in a timely manner.
Job Duties:
  • Kitting of medical device production orders in a clean room environment through accurately counting and documenting components to a work order;
  • Perform material movements both physically and systematically in SAP ERP system;
  • performing Goods Receipts in SAP ERP system;
  • Demonstrate teamwork on a cross-functional team to meet goals;
  • Maintain a neat and safe work environment;
  • Communicate verbally and in writing;
  • Work independently and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Work in a warehouse using pallet jacks and other warehouse machinery;
  • Work overtime as required for business needs;
  • read, understand, and follow company processes and work instructions;
  • Some areas will require the handling of chemicals with proper training and PPE provided;
  • Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors; Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
Additional Notes:
  • Key requirement is experience in a clean room environment, especially for medical device manufacturing.
  • Candidates must have hands-on SAP experience for material transfers and kitting orders; proficiency with SAP is considered critical to improve onboarding efficiency.
  • Experience assigning materials to production orders (not just picking for warehouse) is highly valued.
  • Communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work well on a team are important.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; Windchill experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems may be considered.
  • Preference for candidates with medical device and clean room manufacturing experience; warehouse-only experience is less competitive.
  • Interviews will be conducted virtually for flexibility and to increase candidate availability, especially given multiple shifts.
  • Overall, onboarding and training will take around five weeks.
  • Candidates must be able to read and comprehend process documents at a middle school level and strictly follow regulated procedures.
  • The role supports the electrophysiology department at ***, primarily on the Volt catheter and Agilis introducer product lines.
  • Work is based at the Minnetonka site, focused on minimally-invasive heart procedures.
  • Majority of work (65% - 75%) is in the clean room; the remainder is in the warehouse transferring materials.
  • PPE is required in the clean room: gown, hairnet, beard net (if needed), shoe covers, gloves, and safety glasses (mask optional).
  • Safety shoes are required for warehouse tasks involving equipment; all PPE is provided.
Interview:
  • Preferred interview windows are between 9:30 AM 3:00 PM for all candidates; 3:00 5:00 PM available for second shift.
  • Training is approximately four weeks to proficiency, shadowing a senior operator, plus an initial four-day training in Minnetonka (Monday Thursday).
