Overview:
Full-time Monday through Friday. Occasional weekends and disaster response required.
The Inventory Coordinator takes a lead role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of all inventories within the SCM Warehouse. Resolves any receiving issues, monitors accuracy of orders, and maintains effective inventory procedures, and collaborates with leadership on discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- Works with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the efficient and effective management of all inventories within the SCM Warehouse. During annual inventory period, works with leadership team to coordinate counts, address issues, and to ensure accuracy.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of MMIS and POU systems as it pertains to medical supply replenishment and patient chargeable matters.
- Works with Supply Chain Team to identify any obsolete, outdated, or damaged products and to keep inventory at proper level.
- Performs daily monitoring of the GSEAST Stoplight report with accurate reporting of supply issues to Inventory Specialists, Management, Distribution Supervisor, and Lead Techs.
- Monitors accuracy of all orders from nursing floors to SCM for restocking from the Warehouse or ordering from the vendor. Reviews supply backorders and takes appropriate action to solve problems.
- When necessary, works with purchasing team to place purchase orders for emergency items.
- Works with Receiving Specialists to ensure that all incoming packages are delivered in a timely manner, resolves receiving issues with Supply Chain Management and/or vendor if necessary, and investigates to completion, and deliver any shipments received without the proper tracking documentation indicating its intended destination.
- Works with Supply Chain Team to perform routine spot inventories of stock items. Investigates and make minor inventory adjustments as needed. Report major inventory discrepancies to the Logistics Manager for review prior to any adjustments. Suggest changes to improve supply delivery and efficiency. Perform periodic par level management and optimization.
- Processes department and window issues/return and department orders on a daily basis.
- All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:
Able to work well independently and possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills required.
