Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
Organize and maintain the physical inventory storage area, ensuring parts are easily accessible and properly stored.
Take photos of inventory and keep an up to date log on the website.
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder parts to prevent stock outs and minimize excess inventory.
Assist the service department in locating parts for repairs and addressing any part-related inquiries.
Update inventory records in the management system promptly and accurately.
Identify and report damaged or defective parts.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any inventory or delivery issues.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in an automotive setting.
Familiarity with automotive parts and terminology.
Proficiency in inventory management software and general computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
