Summary of the Position:
The inventory cycle counter is responsible for accurate and on-going cycle counts and reconciliations.
Functions Of The Position
- Physically counts random locations and compares to perpetual on-hand quantities.
- Consistently maintains accurate perpetual inventories by cycle counting random locations.
- Operates forklift in a safe manner to perform responsibilities.
- Assists to ensure first in, first out (FIFO) system is maintained.
- Makes appropriate recommendations to inventory control supervisor regarding methods to improve inventory accuracies and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- One or more years of experience in general warehouse or inventory.
- Sit-down and stand-up forklift certification required.
- Cherry picker and pallet rider certification preferred.
- Attention to detail
- Good verbal and writing communications skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
