Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Data Generalist to support daily warehouse operations through accurate data entry and inventory tracking. This role plays a key part in maintaining organized and up-to-date inventory records in a fast-paced steel warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily data entry related to inventory movement and stock levels
- Maintain accurate inventory records within internal systems
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Verify incoming and outgoing materials against system records
- Communicate discrepancies and assist with resolving inventory issues
- Support warehouse team with administrative and computer-based tasks
Qualifications:
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, spreadsheets)
- Comfortable with general computer use and warehouse systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Previous inventory or data entry experience preferred but not required
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting (steel products)
- Combination of office/data entry work and light warehouse interaction
