Inventory / Forklift Operator (Reach & Sit-Down)
Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Inventory / Forklift Operator to support our Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations teams. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating reach and sit-down forklifts, performing material movements, and ensuring timely inventory transactions within SAP or a similar ERP system.

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Required)
Occasional Saturday work as needed
Overtime may be required based on business demands
Inventory / Forklift Operator (Reach & Sit-Down) Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from vendors and carriers.
- Verify quantities, inspect materials for damage, and compare shipments to purchase orders and packing slips.
- Coordinate closely with the Procurement Team to ensure accurate receiving and inventory transactions.
- Enter receiving, inventory adjustments, transfers, and material movements into SAP or other ERP systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Stage materials for production and internal departments.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
Inventory / Forklift Operator (Reach & Sit-Down) Duties Qualifications and Requirements
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience, including reach truck and sit-down forklift operation. (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
- Experience using SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or another ERP system.
- Ability to accurately receive, count, and track inventory.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
