Summary:
The Inventory Grief Analyst position is responsible for coordinating material flow, inventory management and reconciliation as well as maintaining quality packaging updates. This position is responsible for the material management function relating to quality, control, and distribution of materials and products. This position will be responsible for maintaining a consistent and positive relationship between the customer and the team. The Inventory Grief Analyst will occasionally move material throughout the warehouse with the use of a sit down forklift or power pallet jack.
Primary Job Duties:
Act as primary customer liaison responding regularly to quality/grief issues.
Use internal and external systems to log receiving and inventory issues.
Complete root cause and corrective action for discrepancies.
Monitor and appropriately handle material direction for quality issues.
Compile data for reporting.
Operate sit down forklift.
Certify on and occasionally use the overhead crane.
Inspect material in various stages prior to packaging.
Perform other duties as assigned

Demonstrate an a basic knowledge of small hand tools (tape measure, drill, etc.)

Demonstrate an ability to read and adhere to customer specifications including but not limited to blueprints.
Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of scanning material and associated software.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced computer skills, Microsoft Word (including: Email, Excel and Routine Database Activity etc.).
One year of experience in Manufacturing/Distribution environment preferred
