Inventory Kit Builder

The Inventory Kit Builder is responsible for assembling, packaging, and tracking inventory components into complete product kits or work-order packages. This role ensures all materials are accurately picked using Bills of Materials (BOMs) or pick lists, inventory transactions are recorded correctly, and completed kits are prepared for production or customer shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble product kits by accurately picking components using Bills of Materials (BOMs), work orders, and pick lists.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and product quality before assembling kits.
• Package and label completed kits according to company standards.
• Record inventory transactions and issue parts using ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), or inventory management software.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Organize inventory bins and storage locations to ensure efficient material flow.
• Stage completed kits for production lines or shipping operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, and inventory teams to meet daily production schedules.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move materials in accordance with company guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
