BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY

Through strong interpersonal skills and with limited supervision the Inventory Management Solution Consultants IMSC-OEM primary role is enabling explosive revenue growth through solution opportunity management for OEM customers. This includes solution discovery recommendations signings support and installation oversight. This can include supporting Customer Needs Analysis BCNA agreements and/or complex sales support involving customer C-Suite personnel.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Enables explosive sales growth by properly managing new solution opportunities is the ultimate IMSCs responsibility beginning with comprehensive customer discovery through installation oversight of OEM products.

Proficient with all OEM inventory management solutions including but not limited to vending VMI VMI Inclusion Crib Software CMI Kanban Lean 5S

Partners with key stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met through data collection solutions discovery and building customer relationships to enable explosive sales growth.

Conducts detailed discovery on customer needs including but not limited to data collection process improvement price concerns and cost savings that result in increased signings and expedited installation timelines.

Ensures recommended solutions address specific customer needs

Provides financial assumptions that support the recommended solution.

Working with sales partners focus on obtaining signed agreements in a timely manner.

Continuously works to shorten discovery and recommendation processes without sacrificing quality to expedite timelines and speed overall implementations.

Present OEM Solutions to the MSC OEM BU Sales Teams to foster partnership and trust between the teams

Follows all required Salesforce/TDFP21 etc. protocols for project management

Perform detailed discoveries on customer needs including but not limited to data collection process improvement and cost savings

Collaborate with team to provide best in class recommendations and develop sustainable programs

Present recommended solutions to the VP Customer Solutions and the CST Manager that address specific customer needs and/or continuous improvements of products and services provided

Utilizing key VMI tools and technology setup VMI solutions and services that streamline the VMI/SS service and support at the customers facilities.

Be adherent to all safety requirements PPE Evacuation etc. at customer locations to ensure compliance and a safe work environment

Adhere to service level agreements to consistently deliver best-in-class results

Mentor customers and VMI/SS team members on the Solutions based programs and systems that have been implemented

After customer installation conduct follow up on site review with all affected personnel

Trains all in-plant VMI/VMI-SS team members on the VMI solutions processes and procedures

Follows all required protocols for project and time management to ensure completion as prescribed by the customers

Maintains a thorough knowledge of all OEM BU solutions which include but may not be limited to barcoded solutions such as VMI Vending CribMaster Software etc.

Provide feedback to management for continuous process improvement and cost savings initiatives

Supports designated team goals and objectives

Maintains regular correspondence with RSMs and AMs regarding the customer accounts and contracts

Conducts Ride-a-Longs with the VMI/SS team members to stay up to date on the current FSL/VMI/VMI-SS operations within specific customer locations

Follows all MSC OEM BU policies and procedures

Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSCs vision and unity of purpose.

Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in business or the equivalent experience is required

A minimum of five years of customer service is a plus

Minimum three years supporting value-added customer solutions inventory management/OEM programs is required

Knowledge of OEM product lines/services & OEM related experience is required

Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software preferred

Driver of execution ability to work through complex situations

3- 5 years Fastener Experience - preferred

Computer literacy & proficiency in word processing spreadsheet & presentation software required

Able to perform physical activities such as lifting to approximately 50 lbs.

Ability to work in various types of industrial environments

Must adhere to customer specific requirements such as wearing hardhats safety glasses steel toe shoes

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

A valid drivers license is required

The ability to travel 75% including overnight is required.

Compensation starting at 58,000 - 91,080 depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidates relevant experience education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
