Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Inventory Management Support for a Contract job with a client in Malabar, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting inventory control, stockroom operations, receiving activities, and material handling functions within a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.

Rate Range: $17/hour to $20/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Inventory Management Support Job Responsibilities Include:

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, part numbers, and shipment details against purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation.

• Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and immediately communicate any issues to management for resolution.

• Organize, store, and maintain stockroom inventory in accordance with company policies and inventory control procedures.

• Pick, issue, and distribute materials to internal departments and external customers while maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Support inventory accuracy by assisting with cycle counts, inventory verification activities, and stockroom audits.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Prior experience working in a stockroom, warehouse, inventory control, receiving, material handling, or related operational environment is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, verify, and track inventory transactions.

• Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures, work instructions, and company guidelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other standard business applications in a professional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, defense, warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP systems, material tracking processes, and stockroom best practices.

• Experience performing receiving activities, inventory counts, stockroom organization, and material issuance functions.

• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of inventory accuracy practices, shipping and receiving procedures, and material control processes.

• Demonstrated willingness to support multiple departments and operational areas based on business needs.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
