Job Details

Responsibilities:

As our Inventory Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing and managing our product inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations.
2. Conducting regular inventory audits and generating detailed reports on inventory status.
3. Collaborating with the finance and accounting departments to optimize inventory control procedures.
4. Implementing effective inventory management strategies to prevent discrepancies and shortages.
5. Using inventory management software to track inventory levels, deliveries, and shipments.
6. Coordinating and managing the activities of staff involved in inventory control.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
8. Identifying potential inventory issues and devising plans for their resolution.
9. Training staff on best practices in inventory management.
10. Operating forklifts safely and efficiently, if certified.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Inventory Manager, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Forklift certification is preferred but not essential.
4. Proficiency in inventory management software.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and team management skills.
7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
9. Solid understanding of data analysis, inventory management, and forecasting techniques.
10. Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management best practices and regulations.
