PGS Worldwide is seeking an Inventory & Materials Specialist in Gilbert, Arizona for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support day-to-day supply chain, warehouse, inventory, and administrative activities for a military aircraft sustainment program. The specialist will coordinate repair assets and hardware, manage material movement and kit deliveries, operate warehouse equipment and vehicles, and maintain accurate documentation supporting repair and fielding operations.
Required Skills
Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or another technical discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
3–5 years of forklift and/or pallet stacker operating experience.
3–5 years of warehouse experience.
3–5 years of experience operating a non-CDL box truck with a lift gate.
3–5 years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience supporting inventory, materials, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with government, production, repair, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams.
Self-directed work style with the ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
3–5 years of experience packaging materials for shipment to commercial and/or military standards.
3–5 years of shipping and receiving warehouse experience.
3–5 years of experience using inventory management software.
Familiarity with U.S. Army supply operations and regulations.
Prior military experience.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting contractual requirements and performance metrics.
Experience working within a cross-functional Integrated Product Team environment.
What You’ll Do
Process repair inductions and closures for aircraft system assets being repaired at offsite depots and suppliers.
Process hardware requests supporting inducted repairs.
Coordinate kit deliveries with production and configuration-data teams to support hardware selloff and fielding schedules.
Process obsolete or unrepairable assets for excess or scrap disposition.
Support warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
Operate forklifts, pallet stackers, and non-CDL box trucks.
Maintain material and inventory records using applicable databases and software systems.
Coordinate with government sustainment and repair-operations personnel.
Produce reports, prepare correspondence, and support general office operations.
Assist with contract and administrative documentation as required.
Maintain organized material flow and accurate supply-chain records.
Work Schedule / Shift
Tuesday–Friday.
6:30 AM–5:00 PM.
Full-time onsite in Gilbert, Arizona.
Pay
$29.95 per hour.
