    Job Summary

    Responsible for all Rapid City inventory and PAR set-ups (new and existing). Works collaboratively with department leaders and caregivers for product placement, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the inventories/PARs in support of Monument Health, while promoting Patient and Staff satisfaction.     Job Description

    Essential Functions:

    • Spearheads all new PAR and inventory builds for department locations.
    • Works and supports new construction projects providing space needs for supplies.  Determines louver panel placement, number of metro shelving and akro bins needed.  Provides list of new supplies and supporting equipment for new build areas to the appropriate caregivers/teams.
    • Supports various departments by maintaining and building new specialty trays, bins and code cart supply changes. 
    • Keeps forms updated relating to PAR worksheets, specialty bins/isolation signs, etc.
    • Works collaboratively with department leaders and caregivers for supplies consisting of stock and non-stock items. Regularly meets with department leaders for changes occurring with supplies and space needs for those supplies.
    • Assists with running usage reports for PAR/Inventory areas to determine min/max quantities for accuracy.
    • Helps generate urgent orders and routing department inventory/PAR replenishment within the established guidelines and time frames.
    • Oversees physical inventory process within Monument Health’s Supply Chain. Verifies inventory accuracy by comparing System computation to the physical count. 
    • Investigates discrepancies and adjusts data appropriately.
    • Understands and performs daily inventory functions (I.e. Transfers, adding stock, returns, and issues) within MM inventory module.
    • Assists with training new caregivers providing proper supply chain techniques to ensure supply knowledge is transferred, while instilling inventory maintenance and product handling techniques to eliminate waste.
    • Assists with value analysis as requested.
    • Completes daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts which include validating quantity on hand, checking expiration dating and making necessary adjustments to inventory documentation.
    • Assist the Hills Market, Main warehouse (DC1) and Distribution teams as needed.
    • Oversees Supply Chain Omnicells as needed.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Additional Requirements

    Required:
    Education - High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies

    Preferred:
    Experience - 2+ years of Inventory Management Experience

    Scheduling Requirements: Requires the ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department.

    Physical Requirements: Heavy work - exerting up to 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or up to 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or up to 100 pounds of force occassionally (up to 33% of the time), and or up to 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissues.
