Overview:
We’re looking for a data-driven Inventory Analyst to optimize our inventory levels, support purchasing strategies, and drive cost-effective supply chain improvements for a strong manufacturing company in the midwest with multiple locations. This role blends MRP oversight, forecasting, and supplier evaluation to improve inventory performance and support business objectives. It can be located in any of the three states list.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and adjust inventory levels to meet service and working capital targets.
Analyze SAP data for consistency and generate actionable reports.
Support supplier evaluations using statistical tools to improve performance.
Identify opportunities to enhance inventory turns and minimize excess/obsolete stock.
Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in forecasting and sourcing strategies for new and existing products.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts (Lean/Six Sigma initiatives).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Advanced Excel & Access skills; SAP experience preferred
Familiarity with statistics and forecasting models
Strong communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills
Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus
