Job Title: Inventory Specialist (Warehouse / Forklift Operator)

Location: Coconut Creek, Florida

Pay:

• $20.00 per hour

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per week

Schedule

• Monday – Friday

• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• 1-hour unpaid lunch (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)

• Breakroom available with refrigerator and microwave

• No weekends or major holidays

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to support daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment. In this role, you will operate a swing reach truck and other warehouse equipment to retrieve pallets, support order selectors, and maintain accurate warehouse inventory. This position is critical to ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient material handling, and smooth warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate inventory control by receiving, counting, and recording incoming warehouse inventory
• Operate a swing reach truck, cherry picker, and forklift to support material handling and inventory movement
• Maintain organized warehouse inventory locations to improve efficiency and accessibility
• Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory to ensure inventory accuracy
• Update and manage inventory tracking within the warehouse management system (WMS)
• Support order fulfillment by ensuring correct inventory is available and accessible for order selectors
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products to verify quality and accuracy of warehouse inventory
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory discrepancies and updates
• Assist in resolving inventory control issues and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse to support efficient warehouse operations
• Follow all safety guidelines while operating forklifts and other material handling equipment

Qualifications:

• Experience operating cherry picker, reach truck, and sit-down forklift required
• Experience with inventory control, inventory tracking, or warehouse inventory management preferred
• Ability to use tablets or handheld devices for inventory tracking and data entry
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and manage multiple tasks
• Basic computer skills for warehouse systems and inventory updates
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or inventory control is preferred (training provided)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
