PURPOSE OF ROLE
The Inventory Associate will be responsible for a wide variety of inventory activities to include but not limited to:
The Inventory Associate will work in collaboration with other warehouse staff to ensure processes and safety requirements are maintained.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Collaborate with Inventory Quality Manager to ensure all daily activities are discussed and goals are set.
Collaborate with Inventory team members to ensure daily goals are met.
Work with warehouse personnel to ensure and maintain inventory accuracy on the floor and rack locations.
Work with office personnel to ensure and maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse management system.
Ensure packaging supplies are accurately received in and managed on the floor.
Perform cycle counts on a daily and weekly basis.
Work with packaging personnel to insure accurate inventory handling and placement.
Maintain Power User status with RF functions.
Oversee the Re-Work area and break down pallets for shipment.
Consolidate partial lots when needed.
Maintain equipment used to manage inventory.
Research and adjust inventory in the warehouse management system accordingly.
Ensure that the Re-Work area is clean and organized.
Work with the Inventory Quality Manager to develop meaningful KPIs.
Assist with any inventory floor and rack counts as needed.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by Ravago Baytown Management.
KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years industry experience.
Proficient computer skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Good math, language, and reading skills.
Functional knowledge of a warehouse environment.
Considerate and respectful to all team members.
Able to follow instructions given for daily tasks.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
High School Diploma or GED.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
A variety of standing, sitting, and walking is required throughout the day, including extended periods of time working outside on your feet.
Able to lift 55lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
