The Inventory Specialist I is responsible for NIN creation, item master governance, catalogue management, and warehouse system data integrity across drilling operations.
This role requires technical expertise in creating and maintaining accurate NIN records, managing catalogue structures, standardizing item descriptions, and identifying drilling equipment parts, assemblies, and components for proper classification within the item master.
The position supports inventory accuracy, sourcing efficiency, ERP data quality, and audit readiness by ensuring that catalogue data is complete, controlled, searchable, and aligned with drilling operations.

Strong analytical ability to review large item master and catalogue datasets, identify data gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
Very strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel and Power BI.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

Manage the creation, review, approval, update, and lifecycle control of NINs (Nabors Item Master) in accordance with item master governance standards.
Enforce catalogue naming conventions, item description standards, taxonomy, and category structures to ensure consistency across the item master.
Review NIN and catalogue requests to prevent duplicate item numbers, incorrect classifications, incomplete descriptions, and improper equipment associations.
Identify, validate, and properly categorize major parts and components used on drilling equipment, rigs, and related warehouse inventory.
Perform item master and catalogue data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and validation to improve data quality and usability.
Maintain catalogue category, subcategory, equipment family, and part classification structures to support accurate sourcing, inventory control, and reporting.
Maintain accurate item master attributes, catalogue fields, inventory attributes, equipment relationships, and warehouse data in the ERP system.
Research and resolve item master, NIN, catalogue, and ERP data inconsistencies, including missing attributes, incorrect classifications, and interface errors.
Identify and eliminate duplicate, obsolete, inactive, or incorrectly structured NINs to support catalogue accuracy and inventory optimization.
Verify alignment between physical inventory, NIN records, catalogue descriptions, warehouse locations, and ERP system data.
Maintain supporting documentation for NIN creation, catalogue updates, item master changes, audit reviews, and data governance controls.
Support ERP testing for item master, NIN, catalogue, inventory, and warehouse system changes by validating test cases and documenting results.
Run and review interface failure reports related to item master, catalogue, and inventory data; coordinate issue resolution with end users and IT.
