Location: Katy, TX

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

First Shift: 7 AM or 8 AM Start Time

Ready to work as an Inventory Specialist in Katy? This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying busy and working as part of a fast-paced logistics team where attention to detail ensures every shipment is accurately accounted for and every order is fulfilled on time!

Job Duties:

• Receive, inspect, and process all incoming freight, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Unload shipments, inspect for damage, and ensure proper labeling, counting, and documentation of inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates, cycle counting, and location tracking.
• Organize, stock, and maintain a clean and efficient warehouse and inventory storage area.
• Support order fulfillment by assisting with picking, pulling, and staging parts and materials.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and order accuracy.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or process inefficiencies.
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse operational standards.
• Assist with kitting, packaging, and material preparation as needed.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Receiving, Shipping & Receiving, or Material Handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, verify, and document inventory.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software a plus.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory updates.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
• Experience with cycle counting, order pulling, or freight receiving strongly preferred.
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or within a team.
