Position Summary:
The Inventory Specialist’s primary focus is to oversee daily inventory information processing, reporting issues and tracking resolutions for specific market locations. The Inventory Specialist will also work with a team to help develop and implement all policies, procedures, systems and best practices with regard to inventory, for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information. Assists with inventory movement of liquefied petroleum gas (propane) and at Dead River Company rail terminals and throughout the company.
Essential Functions:
Skills - Strong Microsoft Windows, Office and Excel skills. Ability to use standard office machines (e.g., scanner, printer, copier, postage machine). General accounting knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Experience:
General office experience, familiarity with accounting procedures, and some bookkeeping and data processing experience is preferred.

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college work preferred.
