Responsibilities
Perform daily inventory assessment and replenishment for nursing and procedural units
Monitor stock levels, backorders, and supply availability
Coordinate stat shipments through Consolidated Service Center
Check expiration dates and rotate stock during replenishment cycles
Retrieve, clean, issue, and maintain minor medical equipment
Process requisitions, pick tickets, stock credits, and returns in perpetual inventory systems
Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives
Manage shipping and receiving activities, including outbound freight staging and inter-facility transfers
Maintain transportation logs and ensure accurate tracking of shipments
Receive, handle, and transport pharmaceuticals within facility guidelines
Provide customer service support and act as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain teams
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
2–5 years of inventory management experience required
Healthcare distribution center or consolidated services experience preferred (minimum 1 year preferred)
Strong communication skills (verbal and written English)
Ability to work with clinicians and hospital staff in a service-oriented environment
Proficiency with PCs and handheld devices
Experience with Lawson, mobile supply chain tools, Outlook, Teams, and shared drives
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage inventory workflows accurately
Reliable employment history required
Compliance with vaccination requirements or approved exemption (COVID and flu)
