Inventory Specialist

Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Summary:

• Location: Pasadena, TX
• Duration: 3 Months

Responsibilities:

• Promote a safe work environment and aim for zero accidents or incidents.
• Support inventory consolidation initiatives by coordinating transfers and logistics to the Pasadena warehouse.
• Assist with the closure of satellite locations and coordinate with Industrial Direction for closures in Maximo.
• Initiate and participate in projects related to maintenance inventory, ensuring data collection and strategic solutions.
• Determine inventory status as operating consumable, expensed, or transferred to the Pasadena Warehouse.
• Engage with IT for operating systems adjustments or additions, such as virtual warehouses.
• Evaluate and document spare parts physical inventory at satellite warehouses.
• Identify and correct duplicate and inaccurate data within Maximo and Oracle.
• Coordinate data clean-ups with Industrial Direction, Procurement, Finance teams, and Suppliers.
• Create or modify processes to improve inventory data accuracy and efficiency.
• Register maintenance inventory in Maximo and Oracle as required.
• Develop and maintain activity and status reports, KPIs, metrics, and inventory procedures.
• Conduct inventory analysis and report progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Must have experience with Oracle, Excel/Google Sheets, and Forklift operations.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain management or inventory/asset management in MRP systems.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance planning or plant reliability processes.
• A college degree is required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing maintenance inventory/assets in Maximo.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
