Inventory Specialist (Temporary Assignment)Supports inventory control and warehousing functions for Signant Health owned and customer equipment. Ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure environment and provides accurate accounting of all equipment.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Inventory Control
Inventory management, including stock audits, accurate reporting and physical stock movementsProcess returned devices to ensure software infrastructure is removed accuratelyMaintain good stock control proceduresPerform visual checks on goods receivedMaintain good relations with vendors as directedStock ordering and management of Configuration Centre consumablesPromote continual improvement within the inventory control operationOther responsibilities as required
DECISION MAKING AND INFLUENCE
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the physical stock in the center is recorded in the system, thereby supporting other areas of the business and Clients to make decisions based on that data.Influences the financial accountancy of the business by ensuring good stock handling practices.Able to influence good practice and ensure customer expectations are met, if not exceeded.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESEssential:
Adherence to site Health & SafetyAccurate data entry and computer skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organizationMust be a team-oriented person with a "can do" attitudeExperience of working within a pharmaceutical environment
Desirable:
Experience of Inventory / WarehouseInterest in electronic devices or softwareMinimum education: GCSE (UK) / High School graduation (US) or country equivalent
