Do you enjoy building efficient processes, leading teams, and ensuring materials are where they need to be to keep production moving?Our client is seeking a highly motivated Inventory & Receiving Supervisor to lead inventory control, receiving operations, warehouse organization, and material distribution for our cable assembly and wire harness manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader who enjoys solving problems, driving accuracy, and supporting operational excellence.What You'll DoLead & Develop Your TeamLead, train, mentor, and develop inventory and receiving staff.Assign and prioritize daily workloads to support production demands.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.Provide coaching, performance feedback, and employee development opportunities.Drive Inventory Accuracy & EfficiencyMaintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, audits, and ERP/MRP transactions.Monitor inventory levels and partner with Purchasing to prevent shortages and excess stock.Develop and improve inventory control procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.Ensure proper storage, labeling, traceability, and inventory organization.Support Production Through BOM AnalysisRead and interpret Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and manufacturing documentation.Ensure accurate inventory allocation and material availability for production.Coordinate with Purchasing and Production to resolve material shortages or discrepancies.Support inventory planning based on product structures, assemblies, and material usage requirements.Oversee Receiving & Warehouse OperationsManage the receipt, inspection, verification, and processing of incoming materials.Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve shortages, damages, or discrepancies.Ensure materials are received, stocked, and delivered to production efficiently.Oversee the safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and material‑handling equipment.Maintain Compliance & Operational ExcellenceEnsure a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards for inventory control and material traceability.Prepare inventory reports and communicate key metrics to leadership.Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service teams.What We're Looking ForRequired Experience5+ years of experience in inventory control, receiving, warehouse operations, or materials management.2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.Experience with ERP/MRP inventory management systems.Technical SkillsAbility to read and interpret BOMs, routings, purchase orders, and manufacturing documentation.Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse best practices.Experience identifying material shortages, substitutions, and inventory discrepancies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Leadership SkillsStrong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.Proven success leading, developing, and motivating teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.Preferred QualificationsForklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).Experience in cable assembly, wire harness, electronics, or contract manufacturing environments.Knowledge of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), revisions, and BOM maintenance.Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods.Ability to safely operate material‑handling equipment.Why Join Us?Weekly PayOpportunity to lead a critical function within a growing manufacturing operation.Collaborative team environment with strong cross‑functional support.Direct impact on production success, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.Stable, full‑time position with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
