Essential Duties

 Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Performs all work safely and actively promotes a culture of safety, ensuring all inventory and receiving activities follow established EHS standards.
  2. Maintains accurate inventory levels across warehouse, production, and consignment storage locations, ensuring real‑time visibility and compliance with company requirements.
  3. Owns the full cycle count program, including quarterly physical stock takes, documented reconciliation, discrepancy investigation, and execution of root‑cause and corrective actions.
  4. Plans, leads, and executes quarterly physical inventory, comparing results to SAP and completing reconciliations in alignment with Kingspan standards and audit expectations.
  5. Oversees all inbound material receiving operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance, and quality verification at the point of receipt.
  6. Ensures adherence to FIFO rotation, maintaining product integrity, traceability, and compliance with material‑handling standards.
  7. Optimizes product location and storage layout for efficiency, improving material flow, reducing travel time, and supporting high‑accuracy picking.
  8. Conducts training for inventory and receiving personnel, covering inventory processes, receiving standards, SAP transactions, and compliance requirements to maintain a high‑accuracy environment.
  9. Drives continuous improvement initiatives across inventory control and receiving operations, using data to identify inefficiencies and implement sustainable process enhancements.
  10. Tracks and reports key performance indicators, including inventory accuracy %, receiving accuracy %, cycle count completion, reconciliation time, and cost‑avoidance savings.
  11. Leads continuous improvement and facility optimization projects, strengthening operational efficiency, accuracy, and overall material‑flow performance.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Education and/or Experience3–5 years of experience in inventory control, receiving, or materials management.

Supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.Strong proficiency with ERP systems preferable SAP.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.Ability to lead teams, enforce standards, and maintain high accuracy under pressure.Knowledge of FIFO, lot control, receiving compliance, and audit requirements

Must have:

  • Experience with business computer applications (Microsoft Office).
  • SAP or similar software experience.
  • Knowledge and practice of modern manufacturing and warehousing techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills, analytical, and problem-solving
  • Strong organizational skills; strict attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong communication skills, effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • The ability to deal with highly complex issues and to stay calm when under pressure.

Must be able to:

Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
