Overview: The Inventory Supply Coordinator is responsible for all inventory responsibilities including inventory management, inventory controls, expirations, vendor management related to returns and inventory levels, shrink and loss prevention, maintenance of the web-based inventory database (Qsight) and generation of reports for CV Administration as required. Uses technology to manage inventory and requires a high level of critical thinking skills and computer skills to perform the essential job functions. Works closely with Purchasing personnel regarding special item purchasing and supply management. Responsibilities: Investigates and resolves inventory inaccuracies and updates the Cath Lab and Open Heart team. Work to reduce expenses on an ongoing basis by reviewing inventory reports and review with Surgical Services Materials Manager and Contracting. Makes changes and maintain history of Inventory and PAR levels based on business needs and volume fluctuations. Manages inventory onboarding and ensures accurate supply volume and reordering processes. Provides reports as requested. Utilizes Workday Inventory/Receiving modules to assist staff. Runs reports to monitor inventory issues and other data required by management. Assesses and evaluates current and new product line utilization/inventory. Collaborates with developing a plan for cost savings and product line standardization. Assist with monitoring contract compliance resolve back orders. Leads monthly inventory outdate checking, expired supplies & cycle counting. Monitors inventory for defects, order errors, and overstocks and initiates returns to the manufacturer. Maintains return system involving RA numbers and follow up to ensure appropriate processes. Manages product recall processes and documentation. Functions as resource to other managers/staff regarding products, coverage, pricing, customer service, and related tasks. Assists in developing and implementing new office processes within the department. Assists in maintaining supplies. Monitors tissue tracking compliance. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $16.73per hour - $27.1per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
