Description:
The Inventory Technician assists in a variety of duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Counts and verifies incoming receipt items against PO's.
- Processes receipts in material inventory system.
- Issues material for manufacturing orders and/or Engineering projects from stock.
- Prepares/kits material for the production floor and/or Engineering projects.
- Processes inbound and outbound field service material for service repairs.
- Organizes and maintains inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling.
- Manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned.
- Uses Deltek, Costpoint and RFgen to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials and associated back orders.
- Identifies inventory related transaction errors.
- Perform daily cycle counts and identify discrepancies.
Qualifications:
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be familiar with processing transactions in corporate ERP and MRP systems.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products, Excel and Word.
- Must have attention to detail, and analytical skills to resolve inventory discrepancies and priorities.
- Some experience and skills in inventory processing, kitting, and shipping and receiving.
- 2 years working in a general business environment.
SALARY RANGE
Full-time: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
