We are hiring an Inventory Technician at our Sterling, CT facility. The Inventory Technician plays a critical role in maintaining accurate, real-time inventory records across the facility and ensuring full compliance with Connecticut's seed-to-sale tracking requirements. This is a detail-driven, hands-on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy and accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily cycle counts, full inventory audits, and reconciliation across all product categories.Maintain accurate inventory records in Biotrack and other seed-to-sale tracking systems.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with production, packaging, and fulfillment teams.Receive, verify, and check in incoming raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.Track finished goods from production through to fulfillment and shipment.Support production teams by ensuring materials and supplies are available when needed.Maintain organized inventory storage areas across the facility, including raw materials, in-process inventory, and finished goods.Generate accurate inventory reports and provide data to leadership as needed.Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Connecticut cannabis compliance requirements.Partner with the compliance team during audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.Required QualificationsExceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy with numbers and records.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inventory tasks simultaneously.Comfortable working with digital inventory systems, spreadsheets, and seed-to-sale software.Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive bending and reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to follow strict standard operating procedures in a regulated cannabis environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Reliable, dependable, and accountable work ethic.Must be 18 years of age or older per Connecticut cannabis regulations.Must successfully pass a background check as required by Connecticut cannabis industry compliance.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in inventory management, cycle counts, or warehouse audits.Hands-on experience with Biotrack, METRC, or other seed-to-sale tracking systems.Background in cannabis, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry.Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and basic data tools.Experience with shipping, receiving, or fulfillment operations.Note: We will train the right person with the right skills and attitude.
