Inventory Warehouse Associate
Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Kent, WA
Work Setup: On-site
Shift Options:
- A Shift: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 3:30 PM PST
- B Shift: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 12:30 AM PST
Join a fast-paced warehouse operations team where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential. As an Inventory Warehouse Associate, you will support daily fulfillment operations by receiving, storing, tracking, and shipping inventory while helping maintain an efficient and organized warehouse.
Inventory Warehouse Associate Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, kit, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits while maintaining accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Load and unload trucks and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers (training provided where applicable).
- Identify inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials and report findings promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment and inventory goals.
Inventory Warehouse Associate Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of fulfillment center, warehouse, receiving, shipping, or inventory management experience.
- Experience with receiving, put-away, picking, packing, kitting, and shipping operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
- Willingness to operate a forklift/PIT equipment (training available).
- Strong attention to detail, mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work 45 50 hours per week.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
Preferred
- Previous forklift certification.
- Experience within the aerospace or automotive industry.
- Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs) and warehouse inventory systems.
