    Description

    Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacturer, has an immediate opening for an Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.     Position Description

     

    • Inspect products and keep record of damaged, defective, shortages of, movement of and expired products using computer systems
    • Check inventory records to determine availability of requested products
    • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
    • Compile and inspect incoming/outgoing kits for compliance with specifications and usage
    • Prepare product for scheduled surgeries.
    • Confer with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace deliveries
    • Interact with the team during service level investigations.
    • Assist in FQMS compliance.
    • Maintain warehouse organization to avoid product errors.
    • Use computers to maintain accurate account records and shipment of inventory.
    • Process incoming orders for materials, merchandise, or services.
    • Deliver equipment to customer sites and arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return)
    • Organize, retrieve, or place goods from/into stock received multiple sources
    • Review overdue shipment returns and partner with dispatcher to schedule the return.


    Requirements

     

    • High School diploma or equivalent required; prefer Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
    • Valid driver's license and good driving record
    • 2+ years of customer or account management experience
    • Experience working with an ERP system (Oracle) helpful
    • Demonstrated order processing skills
    • Demonstrated accuracy in data entry and report generation
    • Prefer demonstrated knowledge of the medical implant industry and hospital customer base
    • Must have Skills: 
      • Analytical-experience working with data to solve problems and develop processes 
      • Organized 
      • Communication (customer service orientation) 
      • Computer Savvy and experienced with Microsoft Office Suit of products 
      • Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and various functions 
      • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
      • Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
      • Oracle ERP Experience and SaleForce experience 
      • Adaptability 
      • Energized/High achiever
