Yard Agent role supporting daily outdoor vehicle-yard operations. Employees work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks. This is an outdoor, all-weather position requiring boots, jeans/work pants, and weather-appropriate clothing.
Responsibilities include preparing vehicles for inventory, cleaning/vacuuming/washing vehicles, shrink-wrapping vehicles for storage, driving vehicles around the facility, completing daily work orders, assisting with jump-starts, and escorting customers. The role also handles general yard and facility upkeep, including cleanup, spill response, minor repairs, maintaining an organized shop, securing personal documents, and following safety and cleanliness standards. Strong customer service and a dependable, hands-on approach are important.
The employees will work in the yard for 8 hours a day.
They will need to be here ready to work at 8 am and work until 5 pm Monday to Friday.
They will have a 1-hour lunch break and two 15 min breaks.
They must wear boots and jeans/work pants.
They must dress appropriately for the weather as we work outside in all weather.
The Yard Agent will be responsible for vehicle clean-up and general labor throughout the yard .
The Yard Agent will prep vehicles for inventory per company guidelines while maintaining company standards for accuracy and cleanliness of the vehicles.
In addition, the Yard Agent will perform general labor tasks for the facility which can include general facility clean-up, minor repairs, and other duties.
Finally, through a thorough understanding of company's practices, the Yard Agent will help facilitate the company experience by providing excellent service to customers
Complete work orders daily
Assist members with jump-starting cars
Escort customers
Drive vehicles in and out of the facility
Clean, vacuum, and wash vehicles according to criteria
Shrink wrap vehicle for storage
Secure personal documents according to the criteria
Maintain a clean yard
Maintain spill response
Maintain neat organized building/shop
Maintain a safe working environment according to criteria
Performs other duties as assigned
