Exegistics has partnered with a respected supply chain and logistics organization to hire an Inventory Coordinator in Indianapolis. We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, highly organized, and enjoys solving problems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, communicating with customers, collaborating with teams, and learning new processes. In this role, you'll work closely with Account Managers, Project Managers, clients, and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy and deliver exceptional customer service.

What You'll DoInventory Management & Coordination
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and help identify root causes
- Create and maintain inventory items within inventory management systems
- Conduct inventory audits and support continuous process improvements
- Communicate inventory status accurately and proactively to internal teams and clients
- Partner with warehouse personnel to verify inventory and support client requests
Customer & Client Support
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Respond to client inquiries and coordinate timely resolutions
- Support customer portal and website access requests
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate urgent situations when appropriate
- Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Enter, maintain, and analyze inventory data
- Create and update reports using Microsoft Excel and company systems
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
- Identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Support reporting requests for clients, Account Managers, and Project Managers
Collaboration & Project Support
- Work closely with Account Managers and Project Managers to support client needs
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, customer service, and other departments
- Assist with inventory-related projects and operational initiatives
- Provide backup support for team members and customer accounts when needed
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in inventory, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, purchasing, or related fields
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Data analysis and reporting experience
