About the Role
We’re seeking a licensed, dynamic Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) with technical expertise and strong people skills. If you love speaking to groups, thrive in face-to-face interactions, and are passionate about guiding others toward financial security, this role is for you.
This is not a cold-calling position—our proven educational workshop model generates warm, motivated prospects who want to hear from you. You’ll represent our firm as a trusted advisor, lead engaging workshops, and deliver comprehensive retirement planning solutions.
What You’ll Do:
Educate: Lead 2+ workshops weekly (20–30 attendees each), simplifying complex financial topics.
Advise: Conduct discovery meetings, assess goals, and design tailored plans covering investments, retirement income, insurance, tax strategies, and estate planning.
Connect: Build long-term relationships through regular communication, reviews, and proactive portfolio management.
Collaborate: Partner with internal advisors and client service staff for seamless client experiences.
Grow: Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and market shifts to strengthen client strategies.
Deliver Results: Achieve personal and team goals with the support of marketing and operations.
Qualifications:
Active Series 65 (or willingness to obtain quickly—exam prep covered by company)
Life insurance + securities licenses
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Experience in financial planning, investment advisory, or wealth management
Proficiency with financial planning software and CRM tools
Availability for evening workshops
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in retirement products, major carriers, or seminar-based business development
Ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights
