DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators) is a non-profit organization that administers benefits for companies who are owned or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

We are hiring a full-time Investment Analyst Intern (Fixed Income) Position for fall semester. September- December 2026.

Description: Assist the investment team in managing over $12 billion in assets including assets in defined benefit, defined contribution and insurance portfolios. The internship is expected to be full-time through the upcoming semester or possibly longer. Reports to Portfolio Managers and works directly with investment analysts.

Education Requirements: Progress on or completion of an undergraduate degree required-quantitative emphasis preferred (e.g. Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Math or Statistics).

Experience Requirements: Demonstrated ability to think critically in an analytical setting, attention to detail, effective communication and teamwork skills, flexibility, and accuracy. No institutional investment experience is required. Strong proficiency with Excel preferred.

Primary Responsibilities May Include:

1.Analyze and prepare reports on existing and potential corporate bond investments.

2.Provide weekly updates on investment price changes, ratings changes and news activity. 3.Monitor portfolio performance and assist in periodic portfolio return calculations.

4.Use standard industry analytical tools, research, and methodologies to create cash flow and valuation models of current portfolio holdings and managers.

5.Actively seek to improve and enhance investment/manager selection and monitoring processes.

6.Provide accurate and timely deal/sector/macro research to support the decision-making process of the investment team.

7.Perform other assignments as requested and proactively identify value adding projects and initiatives.
