Investment Associate

A growth-oriented private investment platform is seeking an Investment Associate to join its investment team. The firm partners with founder-led and growth-stage businesses, providing long-term capital and strategic support to help management teams scale.

This opportunity offers significant responsibility from day one and exposure to the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio value creation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals and management teams while developing the skills necessary to take increasing ownership of investment processes over time.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities through financial analysis, business diligence, and market research.
• Build financial models, valuation analyses, and investment return scenarios.
• Support transaction execution, including due diligence, management meetings, and investment committee materials.
• Develop investment theses and research attractive growth-oriented sectors.
• Work closely with portfolio companies on strategic and value creation initiatives.
• Build relationships with founders, executives, advisors, and other industry participants.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, growth equity, venture capital, private equity, or a related investment role.
• Experience in investment banking followed by growth equity, venture capital, or another growth-focused investing platform is highly attractive.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated transaction experience and ability to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Strong commercial instincts, communication skills, and interest in working directly with management teams.
• Experience evaluating technology-enabled businesses is preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
