Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus

Client/Job Summary:

Our client, a vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm, is seeking an Investment Associate to join its Dallas-based team. This individual will play a key role in sourcing, underwriting, executing, and managing investments across a diversified real estate platform that includes multifamily, commercial, and development projects. The position offers direct exposure to acquisitions, asset management, development, and institutional capital relationships within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed financial analysis and underwriting for potential real estate investment opportunities.

• Develop and maintain complex acquisition, development, and asset management financial models.

• Prepare investment committee materials, deal presentations, and reports for senior leadership and capital partners

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and evaluate investment trends across target markets and asset classes.

• Support sourcing efforts by maintaining relationships with brokers, lenders, joint venture partners, and other transaction participants.

• Assist in transaction execution, due diligence coordination, financing processes, and closing activities.

• Monitor and manage acquisition pipelines, tracking opportunities from initial review through execution.

• Partner with asset management and property operations teams to support business plan execution and value creation initiatives.

• Participate in development feasibility analysis, entitlement review, and pre-acquisition evaluations.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including consultants, attorneys, lenders, and operating partners.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in real estate investments, acquisitions, development, asset management, investment banking, or consulting.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience evaluating real estate investments through discounted cash flow analysis and return modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams while taking ownership of key responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Background:

• Experience with institutional real estate investment, development, private equity real estate, or commercial real estate platforms.
• Exposure to acquisitions, asset management, and development projects across multiple asset classes.
• Proficiency with ARGUS, AI-driven analytical tools, and advanced real estate financial modeling techniques.
• Experience preparing investment committee materials and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Track record of analyzing and executing complex real estate transactions.
