Investment Associate

The Investment Associate will report directly to senior investment leadership and support both acquisitions and asset management initiatives across a growing senior housing portfolio. This is a broad investment role offering significant ownership and exposure throughout the investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities include underwriting new acquisition opportunities across the senior living sector, performing financial analysis, valuation modelling and investment committee presentations, conducting operational and financial due diligence, supporting transaction execution from initial underwriting through closing, partnering with operating teams to monitor portfolio performance and identify value creation opportunities, assisting with business plan development, budgeting and ongoing asset management initiatives, and interfacing with institutional capital partners, lenders, operators and other external stakeholders.

The successful applicant we are seeking for the Investment Associate role has:

• Previous experience within the senior living sector is required. Candidates without senior living exposure will not be considered.
• Background gained through an operator, real estate investment trust, private equity platform, investment manager, acquisitions team or asset management function.
• Strong financial modelling, underwriting and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to interpret property-level profit and loss statements and understand key operational performance drivers.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating real estate investments and supporting transaction execution.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.

What's on offer includes a base salary approximately $120,000 - $150,000, dependent upon experience, performance-based annual bonus, flexible location with preference for major markets across the Central and Southern United States, direct exposure to experienced investment professionals and institutional capital partners, opportunity to take ownership of investments from acquisition through ongoing asset management, and rapid career progression within a growing platform.
