Investment Banking Associate

Our client is a rapidly growing middle-market investment bank offering significant M&A execution exposure and career development opportunities. The firm is seeking an Associate to support the execution of M&A transactions across a variety of industries. This individual will work closely with senior bankers and clients, gaining meaningful transaction responsibility and exposure throughout the deal process. This position is based out of Austin, TX or Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of live M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and preparation of client materials.
• Develop financial models, presentations, and marketing materials for both transaction execution and business development efforts.
• Coordinate with clients, buyers, investors, and third-party advisors throughout the transaction life-cycle.
• Assist in managing analysts and ensuring timely completion of deal deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of investment banking experience with a strong focus on M&A execution.
• Demonstrated history of closing M&A transactions; candidates must be able to speak to their specific deal experience and contributions.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong academic performance and credentials.
