Investment Banking Associate - Industrials M&A

Our client, a global middle-market investment bank, is actively seeking to add an Associate to its expanding Industrials M&A practice, supporting the team in Minneapolis. This team is experiencing strong deal flow and is investing in growth across multiple industrial sub-sectors.

This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative platform with meaningful execution responsibility, direct senior exposure, and a clear path for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute M&A transactions, including sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory mandates
• Build and manage financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models) and valuation analyses
• Develop and review pitch materials, CIMs, and client presentations
• Participate in client meetings and due diligence processes
• Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders to drive deal execution
• Mentor junior team members (Associate/VP level dependent)

Qualifications

• Associate: 3-5 years of investment banking experience
• Strong M&A execution experience, ideally with exposure to Industrials (or adjacent sectors)
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience (VP level)
