A leading middle-market or boutique investment bank may seek an Investment Banking Generalist Analyst to support deal execution and client coverage across multiple product and industry groups. These roles are ideal for candidates seeking broad transaction exposure, accelerated learning, and flexibility before specializing.
Build and maintain comprehensive financial models, including 3-statement, DCF, LBO, and accretion/dilution analyses
Conduct company, industry, and market research across multiple sectors
Support live M&A, equity and debt capital markets, and restructuring transactions
Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, management presentations, and client materials
Assist with due diligence, data room management, and transaction execution
Work closely with senior bankers across multiple coverage and product teams
Support business development and client strategy initiatives as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
Solid understanding of corporate finance and investment banking fundamentals
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments across teams in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, audit, or FP&A is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research platforms
