A leading middle-market investment bank may seek an Investment Banking Investment Associate to support transaction execution, portfolio analysis, and client advisory work. This role blends advanced financial modeling, strategic insights, and direct client interaction, making it ideal for candidates looking to progress quickly in investment banking and investment management.
Lead financial modeling and valuation efforts for M&A, capital markets, and restructuring transactions
Conduct in-depth industry research, benchmarking, and investment due diligence
Support portfolio analysis, risk assessment, and scenario planning for potential investments
Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client-facing presentations with minimal supervision
Coordinate due diligence, manage data rooms, and ensure seamless transaction execution
Collaborate with senior bankers and deal teams to develop investment strategies and client recommendations
Drive process improvements, platform efficiency, and reporting consistency across deals
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline; MBA or relevant graduate study a plus
Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis

Ability to manage multiple live transactions in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proactive problem-solving
Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance highly desirable
