    Investment Banking Senior Analyst/Associate - Middle Market M&A

    Locations: Detroit, Denver, Chicago.

    Overview

    Our client, a boutique investment bank with global reach and deep middle-market expertise, is seeking a highly analytical and driven Investment Banking Senior Analyst or Associate to join their growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for professionals with a strong foundation in M&A and financial modeling to take on a leadership role in transaction execution and client engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and review analyst workstreams including financial modeling, research, and deal documentation.

    • Develop and refine analytical materials to support M&A transactions.

    • Conduct industry and company research to inform buyer lists, market trends, and strategic positioning.

    • Build and manipulate financial models for valuation, structuring, and feasibility analysis.

    • Draft key sections of marketing materials and transaction documents.

    • Support due diligence efforts and manage client communications.

    • Engage with buyers, legal advisors, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.

    • Participate in strategic discussions and contribute to deal strategy.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking or a transaction-focused role.

    • Strong technical skills in financial modeling and valuation.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
