Investment Banking Senior Analyst Associate

Selby Jennings is partnering with a well-established middle-market investment bank that is actively seeking a Senior Analyst or Associate to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work on complex M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions while gaining meaningful client exposure and responsibility from day one.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A, strategic advisory, and capital markets transactions.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and operating models.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, CIMs, board presentations, and marketing documents.
• Conduct industry, company, and market research to support transaction processes and business development efforts.
• Participate in due diligence, data room management, and coordination with clients, investors, legal counsel, and other advisors.
• Manage workstreams across multiple live transactions simultaneously.
• Assist senior bankers with client relationship management and new business development initiatives.
• Mentor and oversee junior team members as appropriate.

Qualifications

• 1-6 years of investment banking experience.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Experience executing M&A transactions and/or capital raising assignments.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and project management capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
