A leading global financial services firm is seeking a Vice President to join its Investment Banking team focused on Industrials. This role offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in executing strategic advisory and capital markets transactions for a diverse set of industrial clients.
The VP will work closely with senior bankers, lead execution across live deals, and serve as a critical bridge between junior team members and senior leadership in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and structuring
Oversee development and review of financial models (DCF, LBO, comps, precedents) and transaction analyses
Manage preparation and delivery of client presentations, pitches, and marketing materials
Coordinate all aspects of deal execution, working with clients, legal counsel, and external advisors
Supervise and mentor Analysts and Associates, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output
Support senior bankers in client coverage, relationship management, and business development initiatives
Contribute to origination efforts, including idea generation and pitch development within Industrials
Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and capital markets activity impacting Industrials sectors
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., capital markets, industry groups) to deliver holistic client solutions
Qualifications
5-8+ years of investment banking or relevant corporate finance experience, ideally with Industrials sector exposure
Proven experience leading transaction execution across M&A and/or capital markets deals
Advanced financial modeling and valuation skillset
Strong leadership capability with experience managing junior team members and workflows
Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
