Investment Banking Vice President – Diversified Industrials & Services

Job Description

Our client, a full-service investment bank with more than 125 years of history and a global platform spanning securities brokerage, trading, research, underwriting, and corporate advisory services, is seeking a Vice President to join their Investment Banking team in New York, focused on the Diversified Industrials & Services sector.

This role suits a strategic thinker with a strong background in complex financial transactions — a self-starter ready to work hard in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects at once. Experience leading sell-side M&A transactions is required.

Key Focus Areas

• Clean Technology & Engineering: Supporting sustainable tech and engineering service providers
• Industrial Services & Logistics: Advising supply chain, transport, and support service companies
• Packaging & Manufacturing: Working with firms across paper, forest products, and general manufacturing
• Industrial Technology: Delivering research and deal execution for tech-enabled industrial applications

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of M&A, recapitalizations, and capital raises (debt and equity) transactions
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing relationships and delivering financial solutions
• Oversee the development of detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and presentations
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Contribute to business development efforts, identifying and pursuing new client opportunities
• Build sector expertise and represent the firm at industry events and client meetings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3–6 years of investment banking experience
• FINRA licenses required: SIE, Series 79, Series 63
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
