Job Title:      Vice President, Healthcare Services & Technology
Reports to:        Co-Head of Investment Banking
Department:     Investment Banking
Location:    New York
Salary Range:    $250,000

The Vice President will be a key member of an experienced team building a world-class investment banking practice focused on the healthcare services sector, including providers, payors and managed care, tech-enabled and outsourced healthcare services, pharmacy services, and healthcare IT.  The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of originating, structuring, and executing M&A and financing transactions for healthcare services clients. This position offers direct client CEO and CFO contact with significant responsibility and opportunity for advancement.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record advising healthcare services companies on a healthcare investment banking team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Lead all aspects of execution of investment banking transactions 
•    Prepare and participate in the delivery of client presentations 
•    Lead drafting sessions
•    Perform and supervise preparation of valuation analyses of clients and targets
•    Perform due diligence investigations
•    Develop and maintain sector expertise and client relationships across healthcare services subsectors

Experience and Qualifications Required:
•    Healthcare services investment banking experience required, with corporate coverage and execution across providers, payors/managed care, tech-enabled and outsourced services, and healthcare IT; Minimum of 6 years in investment banking 
•    Live M&A deal/execution experience in the healthcare services sector
•    Exemplary academic record; finance, economics or healthcare-related undergraduate experience preferred; MBA is a plus
•    Working knowledge of healthcare services business models, reimbursement dynamics and the regulatory environment (e.g., value-based care, managed care and provider consolidation)
•    Strong technical skills including advanced financial modeling, financial analysis and market research
•    Strong organizational and communication skills including business writing and presentation skills
•    Highly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic work environment
