Vice President - Investment Banking (Industrials Coverage)

Location: Chicago, IL

We are currently partnered with a leading global investment bank that is actively looking to add a Vice President to its Industrials coverage team. This is a highly visible role within a well-established platform offering broad exposure across M&A advisory and capital markets transactions.

The team works closely with corporate clients, sponsors, and institutional investors, providing integrated solutions across strategic advisory, leveraged finance, and equity/debt capital markets. This opportunity offers meaningful deal exposure, strong internal resources, and clear runway for continued progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day execution across M&A, financing, and capital markets transactions
• Develop and review complex financial models, valuation analyses, and detailed marketing materials
• Prepare and deliver client-facing presentations, including pitches and strategic advisory materials
• Conduct in-depth industry and company analysis within key Industrials subsectors
• Coordinate across internal product teams and external stakeholders to drive transaction execution
• Support structuring and underwriting of debt and equity financings
• Oversee due diligence processes and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Contribute to idea generation and broader client coverage efforts
• Mentor and manage junior banking professionals

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of investment banking or related corporate finance experience
• Strong execution experience across M&A and/or leveraged finance / capital markets transactions
• Prior Industrials sector exposure preferred
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and client management skillset
• Experience with financial tools such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or FactSet
• FINRA licenses (or ability to obtain)
