Vice President, Investment Banking - MedTech
Minneapolis, MN
About the Opportunity Our client is a leading upper middle-market investment bank with one of the most respected and highest-ranked Healthcare investment banking platforms in the country. The MedTech team is looking to add a Vice President (open to Senior Associates as well) in Minneapolis to help lead execution across upper middle-market and large-cap M&A transactions for medical technology companies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, serving as the primary point of contact for clients alongside senior bankers.
Oversee the development of financial models, valuation analyses, and marketing materials (CIMs, management presentations, board materials).
Manage and mentor Associates and Analysts, ensuring quality control across deliverables and deal execution.
Drive buyer and investor outreach, and manage diligence processes from launch through close.
Partner with Managing Directors on new business development and origination efforts within the medical technology space.
Contribute to the broader Healthcare group's thought leadership, market coverage, and sector expertise.
Qualifications
5-7+ years of investment banking M&A experience, ideally within MedTech, broader Healthcare, or a closely related sector.
Demonstrated experience executing upper middle-market to large-cap transactions.
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution skills.
Proven ability to manage and develop junior bankers.
Bachelor's degree required.
FINRA Series 79 and 63 (or ability to obtain).
